The Carnival gets things started early by kicking off the festivities

The 2011 Kyle Fair & Music Festival is a fun-filled family event held the 3rd weekend in October every year. This year's event is expected to be bigger and better than ever! Included in the 3-day festivities are:
BBQ Cook-Off - Teams come from all over to compete in this two day event! Teams can show off their cooking talent in front of thousands of hungry BBQ fans in these categories: Brisket, Pork Spare Ribs, Chicken, Jackpot Chili, Jackpot Beans, and Jackpot Dutch Oven Cobbler. Don't forget the decorations! Trophies will be given for 1st place and 2nd place showmanship!
Carnival - The Carnival gets things started early by kicking off the festivities on Thursday evening! It will be set up and ready to go at the Thunderhill Raceway, exit #210 Yarrington Road, just south of Kyle.
Parade - On Saturday, October 15 at 10am everyone is welcome to come and see the annual Parade. Awards will be given out to the most colorful, most spirited, and to the best float. Can't get enough? Stick around after the parade to catch the annual Battle of the Marching Bands between Lehman & Hays High Schools!

5k Kyle-O-Meter - A Kyle Tradition! Sunday Morning, grab your friends and participate in the 2011 5K Kyle-O-Meter. This 5K certified track is chip-timed and all participants receive a t-shirt! We made it easy for you-- register online today!
